By choosing to host our wedding at the Unterallgäu Environmental Center we are also making a commitment to making our wedding as Green as possible.

Conventional weddings contradict this, as they often involve the use of disposable products, plastic decorations, and lavish buffets. The aim of a "Green Wedding" is to promote an environmentally conscious mindset among a large group of people of all ages and to demonstrate practical, everyday ways to live sustainably. In this way, people are encouraged to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle, and the importance of environmental protection is conveyed in a fun and engaging way. Dogs are allowed at the venue but must be leashed at all times. Other pets are not permitted
There are plenty of children invited and we plan to make the weekend fun for them as well. If you're planning to sleep at the venue we cannot guarantee that every family gets a cabin to themselves. We'll try to group people with their extended family and/or friend circles, but we wont know exact cabin assignments until after RSVPs come in, closer to the event.
Weather in the Allgäu in the summer is quite variable, it could be hot and sunny or cold and rainy. While we hope for sun its best to be preapared, we'll keep an eye on the weather and send out more information as the forecast becomes clearer.
