Getting to the venue

The Erlebniszentrum Unterallgäu environmental station is located at Haid 20, 87764 Legau. For guests flying in there are a couple of options.

Munich has a large international airport and will offer the most flexibility with flight times and routes. Its around a 90 minute drive from the Airport to the venue.

Memmingen also has an airport generally served by discount carriers flying from other parts of Europe. Its about a 20 minute drive from the Airport to the venue

Once you're in the area there are multiple options to get to the venue.

Car

The easiest way to get to the venue is via car. Closer to the date we'll set up a spreadsheet to help coordinate carpools.

Public Transit

There are regular trains from Munich to Memmingen. There is a bus from Memmingen to the venue but it doesn't run very often. If folks are interested in taking the train let us know and we'll look into arranging car shuttles from Memmingen.

Bike

Biking is a great option. We took our bikes on the train to Memmingen then biked to the venue for our initial visit. If folks are interested in retracing our steps we're happy to find someone to carry your luggage

What to do in the Area

For folks traveling from out of town we recommend spending some time in Munich before or after our wedding. This google map includes some of our favorite things to do and places to eat and drink.
